KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

The (Fucoidan - Ginseng - Curcumin) nanocomplex called FGC nanocomplex was developed due to an order project from CVI Cosmetic Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company and a project supporting research staff of the Institute of Materials Science. Associate Professor, PhD. Ha Phuong Thu and her colleagues successfully conducted research and transferred FGC nanocomplex materials to CVI Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Joint Stock Company. The FGC nanocomplex has been developed by CVI Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Joint Stock Company into the CumarGold Kare product on the market today. CumarGold Kare functional food is the first and only product containing the FGC nanocomplex. Since 2017, after the success of the project sponsored by Innofund Fund (MS: VIE 12 047 11/AP/001/FINANCING AGREEMENT/003-W1 12/2016-12/2017), along with the support of the Academy of Sciences studying materials, Associate Professor, PhD. Ha Phuong Thu, has continued to upgrade the production scale of FGC ingredients up to 120 kg/month, equivalent to 20,000 boxes of CurmaGold Kare products. Up to now, the product is continuing to be transferred to CVI Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Joint Stock Company with an amount of about 10,000 boxes per month. The FGC nanocomplex in CumarGold Kare functional food contains ingredients that can maximize effectiveness for cancer patients: kill tumour cells, reduce tumor size, prevent metastasis, and prevent cancer. side effects. Used in prevention, improving physical condition, and preventing exhaustion for cancer patients after chemotherapy and radiotherapy, received very positive feedback from cancer patients. This is especially meaningful when the number of cancer cases is increasing in Vietnam and around the world.

The FGC nanocomplex production technology process has been granted Patent No. 22424 by the National Office of Intellectual Property in 2019.
