THE 2nd IMS-INSD JOINT WORKSHOP ON FRONTIER NANOMATERIALS

“Computational Materials Design of Functional Nano-Materials for Materials Informatics”

Place: Room 338 - Build. A2 in IMS-VAST, 18 Hoang Quoc Viet, Cau Giay, Hanoi

 

   Institute of Materials Science - Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (IMS/VAST) and Institute of Nanoscience Design – Osaka University (INSD/OU) co-organize a series of workshops on nanotechnology as a part of VAST-OU Joint Campus Programmes.

This workshop is concentrated on computational materials design, such as for theoretical prediction and simulation of unconventional structures and functions of nano-materials and for application of materials informatics. It serves for the promotion and development of IMS-OU joint research and training in the fields of nanoscience and technology supported by the Computational Material Design Group in OU.

   We welcome all the researchers and engineers of IMS, and the graduate students of GUST, and researchers from institutions belonged to VAST, and people in other universities and institutions who are interested in the science and technology of computational materials design. We also welcome researchers and engineers in high-tech companies in Hanoi.
