Attending the meeting, on the side of VAST, there were also Prof. Chu Hoang Ha - Vice President of VAST, Dr. Le Quynh Lien - Director of International Cooperation Department, Prof. Tran Dai Lam - Director of the Institute of Materials Science, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Van Trung - Director of the Institute of Physics, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Quoc Tien - Deputy Director of the Institute of Materials Science, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Tien Dung - Director of the Department of Application & Developments of Technology.

Prof. Dr. Chau Van Minh - Chairman of VAST and Dr. Hao Pang - CEO, Quantum Science Ltd discussed at the working session
Quantum Science's field of activity is nanomaterial technology - specializing in the development of infrared quantum dots. The company owns INFIQ® technology - quantum dots that can tune the absorption range from visible light to shortwave infrared, with two main product lines: high-performance HP-QD, containing lead, spectral range up to 2400; LF-QD, containing lead, safe for users and the environment, targeting consumer applications. In addition, the company has developed quantum dot "ink" used to produce high-quality, defect-free thin films, suitable for wafer-level processing in the semiconductor industry. Potential applications include: infrared imaging devices, near-infrared sensors; AR/VR applications, eye tracking; Industrial monitoring, automation, robotics; Precision agriculture and material classification; Environmental monitoring, biomedicine and pharmaceutical analysis.

Dr. Vo Cong Duan - CTO, Quantum Science Ltd introduces the Company
Sharing about the cooperation idea between VAST and Quantum Science Ltd, Dr. Vo Cong Duan said that the two sides can jointly research materials science, commercialize products and publish joint research results in international scientific journals.Discussing the working session, Prof. Tran Dai Lam - Director of the Institute of Materials Science introduced the research directions at the Institute such as electronic materials, metal materials, polymers, rare earths, etc. In addition, the Institute has a "Clean Room" serving the research and manufacturing of optoelectronic, photonic, and electronic components, this is one of the most modern laboratories on materials in Vietnam. The research field and facilities of the Institute have great potential for cooperation with the company, the two sides can participate in joint projects in Vietnam as well as internationally and exchange staff in the field of quantum dot science.Within the framework of the working session, the two sides agreed to sign a cooperation agreement between the Institute of Materials Science (a focal unit under VAST) and Quantum Science Ltd, with the desire to strengthen cooperation in the field of quantum dot science and related technologies to promote the advancement of science and technology. The two sides will jointly exchange and implement cooperation agreements in joint research and development of quantum dot materials and applications; jointly guide graduate students and organize training programs, seminars, and academic exchanges in the fields of nanomaterials, photonics and optoelectronics; and simultaneously develop products and train high-quality human resources.
