Hot Isostatic Pressing

11/11/2021 - 11:36 PM
The HIP system is used for materials heat treatment which combines both elevated temperature and isostatic gas pressure (Ar gas) in a high pressure containment chamber.

Technical parameters
  • The maximum operate temperature: 2000°C
  •  Highest isostatic pressure 20000psi using Ar gas.
Applications
  • The system is suitable to sinter the sample by powder metallurgy in order to obtain high density. Typical samples have been sintered by this system including WC-based hard alloys, Cu-based composites, Ti –based composites, etc.  In addition, the HIP also can be used to remove the pores in casting products.
