The HIP system is used for materials heat treatment which combines both elevated temperature and isostatic gas pressure (Ar gas) in a high pressure containment chamber.
Technical parameters
The maximum operate temperature: 2000°C
Highest isostatic pressure 20000psi using Ar gas.
Applications
The system is suitable to sinter the sample by powder metallurgy in order to obtain high density. Typical samples have been sintered by this system including WC-based hard alloys, Cu-based composites, Ti –based composites, etc. In addition, the HIP also can be used to remove the pores in casting products.
